Father leader Kim Il Sung set the example leading the victory over the Japanese imperialist invasion and occupation of the DPRK.

Then leader Kim Jong Il was able to standoff against the US for the last two decades with great resilience and great success.

Leader Kim Jong Il protected the DPRK from a US invasion while advancing the socialist construction of Juche and Songun Korea.

2. Sincerity to the Nation

The epoch of national liberation was quickly followed by the success of building socialism in the DPRK.

Over five decades emerges an egalitarian classless society devoid of corruption and immorality and based on communist morality filled with humanity and revolutionary fervor and enthusiasm.

The development of the Juche ideology and later Songun politics meant a society that was not only self-sufficient under tremendous odds made unfavorable by the US embargo, division of the Korean nation, and threat of military aggression, but that now there was an economically, socially, culturally, politically, and militarily strong nation that is able to construct socialism by itself from the ruins of the Japanese occupation and then American invasion and now was able to defend itself against any future invasion by the US.

This all would have not happened if it weren't for the sincerity and self-sacrifice of the leaders. Once the people believed in the sincerity and experienced the self-sacrifice of the leadership they rallied around it and embraced it and today protect and defend it with their lives.

There is complete harmony between the leadership (leader Kim Jong Il and the WPK (Workers Party of Korea) on one hand and the working classes and the army centered Korean nation.

To prove this harmony one had to only observe the single-hearted unity of the Korean nation. A single-hearted unity of the people and army and a single hearted unity of the people with the WPK and the leadership of comrade Kim Jong Il.

3. Theoretical Genius

Juche is the socialist ideology of the DPRK that stresses man’s role as master of his universe. It is socialism based on the Korean spirit and conditions. Although it uses Marxism-Leninism as its base for constructing communism it is an original ideology that goes beyond Marxism-Leninism ensuring the independence in politics, military, and socialist construction of the Korean nation.

Songun politics is the army-first theory and practice of the Korean nation. It is the emphasis on the role of the army as central not only to defense of the nation but the construction of socialism itself.

The theoretical development of Juche ideology and Songun politics had proven the genius of the leadership of both leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in practice and not only on paper.

The testament of this missile-ready, Songun-ready nation, of the last 50yrs while others (like the Soviet Union collapsed) shows the correctness of the theory in practice.

50yrs ongoing the DPRK is now not only in a balance of power with the US, but able to inflict a defeat on a US invasion of the DPRK. It is also capable of inflicting heavy damage onto the US itself.

After national liberation from Japan, standing off the US invasion in the 1950s, successfully constructing socialism with Juche and Songun as its pillars, the DPRK is now concerned in now moving forward towards:

1.Building its missile capability according to the Songun theory

2.Building its nuclear capability for energy and defense uses

3.Accomplishing national reunification of the North and South to reunify a Korean nation torn by the US into two separate artificial countries.

National liberation, socialism, defeating the US invasion, and now the missile program, nuclear program, and national reunification of Korea all would have not been possible if it weren’t for the heroism, sincerity, and genius of leader Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.
