In Islamic tradition the martyr's body is not washed contrary to all other burials. The martyr is buried with his own blood because it is holy and its scent is fragrant like the fragrance of flowers.

 

In Palestine Arab tradition says that upon the news of the martyr of a hero no condolences are accepted but the contrary happens, as screams of joy receive the news of the death of a martyr as if one receives the news of a joyful wedding.

 

The home of the mother is filled with people and only Taghareed (Cheers of Women) are heard all over the house as a sign of jubilant happiness.

 

The coffin of the Palestinian martyr is covered by the Palestinian flag and the coffin is covered with jasmine, flowers, and roses and the surrounding air is filled with the ringing sound of bullets fired by mourners who are celebrating the sending off of a martyr.

 

The Islamic martyr climbs to the highest strata of heavens above all others! 

 

 

 

Today we received the news of the sentencing of H.E. president Saddam Hussein with that type of joy and celebration.

 

When sentenced to death by hanging president

Mujahid Saddam Hussein was said to have said defiantly and with pride: "We are for it!".

 

 

It befits you our lion-hearted president that you should die like Omar AlMokhtar when the Libyan desert cried that night.

 

It befits our hero of one of a kind that you should die an honorable death as you wanted.

 

So that like Che Guevara you should die on your feet and not kneeling down.

 

President Saddam we pledge to you on the holiest of sand grains in Arabia, in our beloved Iraq, that you shall stand as tall as the Iraqi palm trees.

 

That a million bullets shall be fired in your name into the hearts of the American wilder-beasts and that your sacrifices shall never go in vain.
