We at NACAZAI congratulate President Robert Mugabe on his electoral victory and wish him all the best in his new term as Zimbabwe's president. We commend President Mugabe's patriotism and courage in telling imperialist leaders who seek to meddle in Zimbabwe's internal affairs to "go hang."Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has revealed himself to be a coward, a fraudster, and a traitor. He lied about the results of the first election, he lied about the presence of electoral fraud, and he lacked the courage to finish the runoff election and instead of seeking help from his own Zimbabwean supporters, ran to the Dutch embassy. Tsvangirai revealed himself to be a traitor, not a mere dissident, when he called upon foreign governments to intervene against Zimbabwe. If Tsvangirai had real grievances with President Mugabe and the ZANU-PF, he should have taken them to the Zimbabwean people, not to foreign imperialists. There is never any excuse for such behavior.
We at NACAZAI recognize the right of the Zimbabwean people to national self-determination and condemn any military intervention, sanctions, or blockades by foreign powers seeking to interfere with this right. We join President Mugabe in telling all who advocate such things to "go hang."
