Please allow us to extend our solidarity on the occasion of the ZIPAYA Inaugural Conference. On behalf of the unanimous partisan opinion of the North American Committee against Zionism and Imperialism (NACAZAI) please accept our warm and fraternal feelings of solidarity with the patriotic and struggling young people of Zimbabwe as they struggle to carry out the revolutionary traditions of the anti-apartheid guerrillas and luminaries of Pan-Africanism and the anti-imperialist cause of independence.

Brothers and Sisters, under the wise tutelage of His Excellency President Robert Mugabe and the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF), Zimbabwe struggles against imperialism and neo-colonialism for a prosperous Zimbabwe and Africa. Even as the American and British imperialist and their local neo-colonialist operatives lament the successful redistribution of land back into the hands of its rightful owners, the peasants and popular classes of Zimbabwe are rallying ever-stronger around Comrade President Mugabe and the Pan-African cause. It is Mugabe who leads the "Look Eastward" policy that breaks the backs of sanctions and defends Zimbabwe.

Now the hardships suffered by the people of Zimbabwe , owing namely to the strangulation of imperialist and neo-colonialist powers, requires fresh new challenges to the young people. The cause of energetically defeating these hardships, of further strengthening the ideological and spiritual resolve of the masses and of checking imperialist aggression, are great challenges. We congratulate the resolve of the ZIPYA and all the young people to carry on the revolutionary Pan-African path and to struggle against AIDS, poverty and naked aggression.

Brothers and Sisters, it is no secret that the NGO's and majority of "charities" and progressive organizations of the west aim at nothing short of spreading western decadent ideas and to deprive the African and "Third World" people of the national and spiritual foundations for carrying out revolutionary and progressive development and self-reliance. Most of them clamor on about "dictatorship" and "human rights abuses" in an effort to confuse the masses about who the real enemy is while pretending that imperialist intervention and strangulation has some "civilizing" mission to it.

Look at Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan burn! Look at what they did to Nkrumah because he exposed the naked face of US imperialist "aid" or the "mysterious" plane crash that killed Comrade Machel! Look at the way they attempt to starve out progressive regimes and demonize National Liberation Movements as "Terrorists"! Not once, but repeatedly, they have attempted coups against Venezuela's democratically elected revolution, all this as they claim to be struggling for a world of "democracy". They point nuclear weapons at Korea for decades while occupying more than half her territory now more than 50 years now while crying about "Weapons of Mass Destruction".

Those who napalmed Indochina and drove their indigenous people to genocidal deaths now claim to speak of "freedom"! The British imperialists, who we must add are responsible for the underdevelopment of much of Africa, now express "concern" for Zimbabwe as if she is a child in need of "loving care" rather than a sovereign people with a right to self-determination and non-interference!

It is in this spirit of the masses digging their feet in and fighting the enemy at the barricades that we salute you fraternal sons and daughters of Zimbabwe and African Chimeranga! President Robert Mugabe is the glorious lion of Africa. He is the last of the African leaders who fought against colonialism. His contemporaries include Nkrumah, Ture, Lumumba, Machel and Nasser. Today the youngsters are continuing this glorious path of greatness according to the concrete conditions of the era.

We stand with you brothers and sisters, comrades-in-arms, and salute your courage and ambition for the unity and independence of Africa!

Create an axis of resistance from Harare to Gaza to Caracus, Baghdad to Pyongyang to Dar fur that the world may smash the enemies of humanity!

Long Life Zimbabwe, its African identity and the Third Chimeranga under the wise tutelage of H.E. President Robert Gabriel Mugabe!
