The Zionist entity's Assault on Shefa'amer
On June 13th, 2006 the Zionist entity arrested 7 Arab Palestinian men in the town of Shefa'amer on charges of "terrorism". The mass arrests stem from an August 4, 2005 incident when Zionist occupation soldier Eden Natan-Zada was killed following acts of self-defense on bus 165. Natan-Zada, aside from acting as a human base of imperialism, had launched unprovoked gun fire which killed the driver of the bus, Michel Bahut, Nadir Hayak, Dina Turkey, and Hazaar Turkey.
Masses of residents from Shefa'amer attempted to grab his gun and more than 20 were wounded in the process. Now, more than ten months later the Zionist entity has taken 7 men hostage and escalates its practice of increasing collective punishment, hoping to break the resolve of the Arab Palestinian masses.
The Popular Committee of Shefa'amer has been formed, and is vigilantly protesting these acts. They hope that the international progressive and revolutionary forces well lend a voice of solidarity, because Zionism is very real mortal enemy for us all.
These acts once again highlight that "Israel" cannot be separated from its brutal practices. They serve to re-enforce the primacy of the resistance option in Palestine and around the world when confronting imperialism and the Zionist entity.
