NACAZAI and EASPF Support Myanmar and Laud the Courage of the Tatmadaw in Resisting Imperialism

--- John Paul Cupp, Public Relations Director of NACAZAI and EASPF

Whatever her previous leader's have done and regardless of whatever mistakes have been made, it is clear that today Myanmar is one of the few states to have a genuinely anti-imperialist patriotic regime, and is therefore worthy of support. On behalf of the North American Committee Against Zionism and Imperialism (NACAZAI) and the European-American Socialist People's Front (EASPF), I would like to reaffirm a commitment to solidarity with Myanmar.

Many would-be "anti-imperialists" like to make baseless speculation about what is going on in countries they know very little about, base their "solidarity" upon such guesses and hence do great harm to the struggle for national self-determination worldwide. It is in this spirit that we make clear that whatever is going on our support and solidarity goes out to Myanmar. This is because Myanmar is one of the few non-capitalist and nationalistic regimes left in the world today, one which has the fangs of Zionism and the US-led imperialists constantly attempting to subvert them.

Ever since patriotic General Than Shwe stepped forward as savior of his people during a time of anti-national disruption, an act which very literally saved Myanmar from becoming just another liberal comprador regime, Myanmar has had "humanitarian interventionists" constantly attempting to subvert and isolate her. Even the basic inalienable right of a country to name itself, rather than carry forward with colonial and anti-national phraseology, is attacked!

Not the least of enemies are all of the Western imperialist regimes, the Japanese imperialists and a long list of Zionist-dominated NGOs and globalists headed by Zionist billionaire and nations-wrecker George Soros. Like many "Third World" countries whose healthy rejection of "globalization" makes them deeply unsuited for the free flow of finance capital, aid to disruptive and sectarian forces which make themselves clients of the enemy and traitors has continued to flow. When Myanmar defeats these traitors by dint of having one of the largest and strongest military powers in the world, as with recent clashes near China's border, Western opinion cries and whines about "needing democratic freedoms" and oppression." Imagine however the actions of any of these states if some section of their citizens launched military attacks for the purpose of subordinating their country to a foreign power merely to advance narrow regional interests.

Aung San Suu Kyi and her party are nothing but political prostitutes. Even the fact that her choice of partners is a Westerner and her family doesn't live in the country she supposedly loves, demonstrates how shallow is her national soul. Anyone who calls for acts of war and imperialist aggression against her fellow countrymen so as to bring her political party to power is the worst sort of traitor. Throughout history traitors have always been hated more by the masses than even foreign aggressors. The very platform of the "National League for Democracy" reads like something out of an "Orange Revolution" false-flag playbook. Much of Myanmar is still nationalized and the army is in the hands of people willing to stand down aggressors. Under NLD leadership, this would not be the case. The ancient soul of the people would be replaced by the global shopping mall and Myanmar would become a world center for drug trafficking and for tourists to engage in vulgarities against the local population. Considering these things Aung San Suu Kyi is lucky to only be under house arrest rather than killed!

All forms of sanctions, embargoes, imperialist-imposed isolation, war preparations and subversion against Myanmar must be opposed. Whatever our differences with Myanmar, we reject the tendency of many supposed "leftist" groups working to subvert Myanmar's regime around the world. Such people complain that Myanmar doesn't spend enough on social activities while placing such extensive aid in the army, but this is stupid. How does one fight a war against imperialism to liberate their country or to develop a deterrent force capable of preventing such a war in the first place without a strong army? Indeed, placing priority in military affairs is a trend of the times for resistant peoples as they witness the destruction that has unfolded in the world since the Cold War ended.

We salute the courage and determination of General Than Shwe to raise Myanmar's military preparedness via Myanmar's Tatmadaw nationalistic military-led project. We affirm our total solidarity with the regime and desire to set up fraternal relations in the spirit of anti-imperialist independence. Furthermore, we call on all the ethnic groups in the US and all the people around the world to subvert the imperialists who long to destroy brotherly Myanmar.

We congratulate the fine work Myanmar is doing to build ties with other states that seek national independence, for example the recent establishment of normalized relations with Zimbabwe and with north Korea a couple of years back. These are positive steps Myanmar is taking towards both preventing her international isolation, which Yugoslavia, Iraq and Afghanistan all faced prior to the aggression against them, and to build steps towards unified resistance against the enemy worldwide.

To our brothers and sisters in Myanmar: Fight hard and honorably, striving to build a powerful sovereign people. We are with you!

Long live General Than Shwe and the Tatmadaw, solidarity with the patriotic masses of Myanmar!
