Members of the Arab Nationalist list called for a protest rally in front of the Zionist embassy this Friday July 4th to stand with the resistance of the Palestinian and Lebanese people. This demonstration followed prayer at Kaloti mosque near AlRabyah city where the Zionist embassy is located in Amman Jordan.

 

After prayer fights broke out with the riot police and the protestors were prevented from reaching the embassy. During the confrontation Dr. Ibrahim Alloush of the Arab Nationalist list was attacked from behind and struck in the head where he sustained a severe blow as reported by friends.

 

Following the incident Dr. Alloush was arrested and taken in by the Jordanian authorities.

 

We demand the immediate release of Dr. Ibrahim Alloush and the persecution of the Jordanian security officers who assaulted him and we also ask immediate information on his whereabouts for concerns about his safety.

 

This is freedom afforded to the Jordanian political activists and this is all done for the protection of the Zionist enemy and the American master.
