NACAZAI Congratulates the Real IRA

NACAZAI congratulates the heroic members of the Real IRA who killed two British soldiers and wounded four others who were stationed in British-occupied Ireland and who were about to deploy to Afghanistan. This act struck a double blow for the national liberation of both Ireland and Afghanistan.

NACAZAI supports fraternal good relations among the peoples of Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales, but the United Kingdom is an imperialist project which is not in the interests of any of these peoples and which is only in the interests of the imperialist grand-bourgeoisie. NACAZAI categorically rejects religious sectarian arguments by those who claim that Irish Protestants have legitimate allegiance to the United Kingdom. One's choice of religion or lack of religion in no way affects one's nationality or one's obligation to be patriotic. Adherence to the Protestant faith in no way negates Irish nationality or excuses treason to Ireland.

NACAZAI calls on all Irish people, whether Catholic, Protestant, atheist, or of other faiths, to unite behind the armed resistance of the Real IRA and struggle for a united, independent, anti-imperialist Ireland.
