NACAZAI Stands with China
---North American Committee Against Zionism and Imperialism (NACAZAI) May 3rd, 2008
The North American Committee Against Zionism and Imperialism (NACAZAI) declares its total solidarity with fraternal China and her people, in the context of the anti-Chinese conspiracy regarding Tibet and the Olympics of late, and the broad anti-Chinese aggression in general.
We reject the western leftist attempt to treat China as anything less than a brotherly people.
For centuries, Tibet was always treated by world powers as an integral part of China, and in China one finds many nationalities living peacefully beside one another. It is only for the sake of promoting fragmentation and preventing China from surpassing the US imperialist unipolar designs on the world that the Tibet situation is addressed before the world by imperialist powers than most certainly are not keen to national liberation as witnessed by their wars of aggression and embargoes. For the record, while NACAZAI respects brother Buddhism as a spiritual and fraternal force, we condemn the Dalai Lama as a pro-US comprador tool of imperialism and we wish to praise China for its accomplishments over the decades in building a peaceful and prosperous society, regardless of our differences, as the 2008 Olympic Games approach.
We condemn Tibetan chauvinists and their imperialist masters for the recent sectarian race riots of late, and stand with China against them, believing such behavior is not in the interest of any of China's nationalities including the Tibetans.
While we have grievances with China over recognizing both south Korea and the Zionist entity, and caution against taking pragmatic stands against imperialism, NACAZAI affirms its solidarity with the right of China to self-determination, stands against dogmatic Western "Maoism" that aggressively and unnecessarily slanders her, and point also to a number of anti-imperialist stands China has taken and aspects of socialism which she still preserves. We reject supporting any Chinese Separatist movement, including both the Tibetans and Uighers, as that of aiding fragmentation and the imperialist conspiracy to prevent strong independent national development that threatens "globalization".
We have our differences with the Chinese leadership, and that needs to be clear, but such differences do not excuse allowing imperialist attacks and slanders against the popular classes of Chinese people.
