Leader KIM JONG IL and Bright Prospects for Korea’s Re-unification

For so many years, the dream of re-unification has been on the minds of all Korean patriots. What has chiefly stood against this dream has been the terrorist presence of American troops in the ROK and the comprador “Grand National Party”.

Despite families being split apart, numerous suffering, and countless tears, the will of the Korean people for re-unification has never been shaken.

An earth-shaking accomplishment has been the June 15th 2000 accords. These accords brought the south and north of Korea closer to accomplishing that dream. Under the guidance of the great leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG and the dear leader Comrade KIM JONG IL, the two halves of the Korean nation are on the path of victory. As north Korea achieves victory after victory under the banner of Songun, the south Korean people wage a heroic anti-US and anti-war struggle for re-unification.  

Millions of us watched this year as the ROK President crossed the infamous yellow line which separates the two Koreas. Walking into the north, he was warmly greeted with flowers, cheers, and tears of joy.

If it weren't for the unshakable will power of the Korean people, this would have never happened.

As I joyously followed these events which unfolded, I thought with joy what an inspiration this is to me as I think of my own Arab homeland’s anti-imperialist fight for unity and independence. It made me realize once again, even though the US imperialists are the ringleaders of world reaction, they cannot stifle the cause of unity and independence in Korea and around the world forever.

Greatest glory and respect to leader KIM JONG IL, lodestar of the 21^st century and bright sun of Korea’s re-unification.
