DPRK  Steadfast and Strong in 2008

Despite immeasurable hardships and economic strangulation by the US imperialists, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) is moving forward steadfast and strong in 2008 under the guidance of beloved leader Kim Jong Il and the Workers Party of Korea.

Today in the imperialist bourgeois press not a day passes without the global propagation of misinformation and lies about the DPRK. False accusations are leveled that the DPRK has surrendered its nuclear weapons in exchange for economic aid. Why such negative attention to the DPRK by Jewish power and US imperialism that controls the international media? This is because the DPRK represents a genuine anti-imperialist force and a serious contender and in opposition to US and Jewish desires for control of the world. The DPRK has never had normal relations with the Zionist entity and will be the last country on earth to recognize the Zionist entity of “ israel ”.

To clarify matters the DPRK has maintained for decades its desire for a Korea free of nuclear armaments. It has pressed for peace all along and for the reunification of its painfully separated southern and northern parts. The DPRK suffering under unjust US sanctions to strangle it economically has demanded these unjust sanctions be lifted, a non-aggression treaty with the US be signed, and full normalization with the US be signed in agreement. It is not a secret that the DPRK has not one single drop of oil in its territory and badly needs energy resources to provide for its citizens’ energy needs.

It is also not a secret that the US is the one that is constantly targeting the DPRK and its sovereignty. War maneuvers in the southern part of the country are a constant occurrence, as is the war mongering campaign to invade and occupy the DPRK by the Americans and their comprador agents in southern Korea .

What the bourgeois Jewish-run media never mentions is that as of this time the DPRK has not placed the issue of the military aspect of its nuclear program on the table. Only the civil part of its nuclear program is under negotiations. If the US agrees to cooperate in the energy realm and provide the DPRK with the aid it has promised since the Clinton years then the DPRK has no issue in shutting down its nuclear reactors. Everyone knows that these nuclear reactors were built to provide electricity for the DPRK and its citizens who suffer from electrical shortages.

Second, the military aspect of the nuclear program which is currently not under discussion is for self-defense. How dare the US ask the DPRK to abandon its nuclear arms for self-defense when the US itself possesses such arms and are capable of reaching the DPRK. What logic is this? How can the DPRK be asked to give up its arms when the US is constantly running war maneuvers against the DPRK.

Contrary to the news of the DPRK giving up its weapons, the DPRK is marching forward with nuclear arms technology for its defense. As to the issue of reunifying the nation the DPRK is making steady moves forward to reunify the two parts of the country separated by American Yankee imperialism.
